The Museum of Boulder is offering art classes for children to complement our temporary exhibit, Wild | Buffalo in Boulder (September 5, 2019 - January 12, 2020), in partnership with the nonprofit organization Buffalo Field Campaign and Boulder artist Thiadena Martin.

Over a six week time period, Thia and artist Amanda Gress will teach two classes - one for children ages 7-12 and another for 13-18 with media that includes drawing, painting, print-making and sculpture. Results will be completed art projects that will be on display within the Museum from December 15, 2019 - January 12, 2020. This is a rare opportunity for student artists to have their work on display at the Museum of Boulder after completion.

Class fee includes all materials and costs to mount and exhibit pieces. Only 12 students per class. October 13, 20, November 10, 17, December 1, 8. This project is funded in part by a grant from the Boulder Arts Commission, an agency of the Boulder City Council. Full and partial scholarships are available by contacting Chelsea Pennington Hahn, chelsea@museumofboulder.org or call 303-449-3464 x 3.
