Polly McLean is an Associate Professor of Media Studies at CU Boulder and her recently released book Remembering Lucile explores the life of a groundbreaking Black woman in Colorado. Through years of investigation, research, and travel, McLean pieced together Lucile's amazing journey and the book has been hailed as "a wonderful example of history from below written from a Black feminist perspective."
